This policy explains how GGC Photography (“we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal information when you visit this website, get in touch or book us. GGC Photography is a family business based in Kent, UK, run by Cristian and Adriana. We are responsible for your personal information. You can contact us about it at ggcphotographyuk@gmail.com.

What we collect

• When you contact us: your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), the type of service, your event date and venue, and anything you tell us in your message.

• When you book: the details we need for your booking, such as names, contact details, your event plans and payment records.

• At your session or event: the photos and videos we take of you, your family and your guests.

• When you use this website: basic technical information collected through cookies, such as your browser type and the pages you visit.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, prepare your quote, plan and deliver your photography and video, send you your online gallery, keep the records we need for accounting and tax, and improve our website.

Our legal reasons

We use your information because we need it to give you a quote or carry out your booking (contract), because it is in our legitimate interest to reply to enquiries and run our business, because the law requires us to keep certain records, or because you have given us your permission (consent).

Your photos on our website and social media

As set out in our booking contract, we may use a selection of photos and video clips from your session or event in our portfolio, on this website and on social media to promote our work. If you would prefer your photos not to be used, this can be arranged for an additional fee when you book.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We only share it with the services that help us run our business, such as our website and online gallery provider (Pixieset) and our email provider, and with professional advisers such as an accountant where needed. Some of these providers may store information outside the UK, with appropriate safeguards in place.

How long we keep it

If your enquiry does not lead to a booking, we delete your details within 12 months. We keep booking and payment records for as long as the law requires, usually six years. We keep backup copies of your photos and videos for 12 months after we deliver your gallery, so please download and save your photos once you receive them.

Cookies

This website is hosted by Pixieset and uses cookies to work properly and, if you agree, to help us understand how visitors use it. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies using the cookie banner, and you can also change your cookie settings in your browser at any time.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or limit how we use it, ask for a copy to take elsewhere, and withdraw your consent at any time. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please talk to us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
